I've spend $5 on gambling during the last couple of days. When I get into some big casino for the first time I spend $1 on a 25 cent slot machine just for the fun of it. All I won so far was 25 cents. This is probably the worst rate I've ever experienced myself. In 2004 I won $50 on a quarter slot machine but since then I never won anything worth mentioning. What changed in the last years is that slot machines aren't a sink for quarters anymore. You have to spend at least one dollar (bills only) to start playing. This might be just another way casino s try to make more money. Payouts haven't been cash for some time already and if you don't get real cash out of a machine you might just keep on gambling on the same machine. Who wants to queue up at a cashier to cash in a $3 cash-out voucher anyway?
